Here at SHS, we are a diverse campus of just under 2000 students and 245 staff members. Our ethnic breakdown includes 59% Hispanic, 32% Anglo, 8% African American, and approximately 1% Asian and other.

We pride ourselves in having high academic standards and a safe learning environment for all students. We offer a wide variety of opportunities for our students including dual credit courses, Advanced Placement courses, on line instruction, distance learning, Microsoft and A+ certification and much, much more.
 
In addition, we have a variety of teams, clubs, and organizations that allow for further enrichment in extra- and co-curricular activities to ensure a well-rounded student.
